Sitting in Traffic

I was bored going home last night and decided to take out the camera and start shooting stuff. As you can see from the picture of my dashboard (which is a little dusty), I was doing less than 20 mph. Sometimes that's how life is here in Southern California. At least the sky was cool.

LA River

A while back, I promised Carol, of Chattanooga Daily Photo, a shot of the LA River after she posted a picture of Chattanooga's version of the LA River. It's not the prettiest of pictures, then again, the LA River isn't the prettiest of rivers.

Library

Finally ~ I'm back up and running! I was in San Francisco this past weekend and fell in love with the Library at the corner of Bartlett and 24th in the Mission district.

Queen Mary II

My home computer is still not up and running, but I was able to access some pictures from my work computer. I'm hoping to have everything resolved this weekend. My apologies!

Recently the Queen Mary II sailed into the harbor in front of my home on her maiden voyage. It was really hazy on the water, and the picture doesn't really do justice to just how large this boat is. The Queen Mary I is docked here in Long Beach and they "saluted" each other. It was pretty awe inspiring.
